The Last Day..

Tomorrow is my last day of classroom teaching!
The last few days have been full of incredible things...
Pupils - and the colleagues that I'm close to - have been
lovely, kind and generous with their good wishes.
My leaving concert was everything that I wished for...and more.
My lounge looks like a florists...
I've never had so many cards on one occasion..
And my dining room table is covered with unexpected and carefully chosen presents...
After all the difficulties, this has been a lovely way to close this chapter in my life.
I'll post properly over the weekend.

  3. Glad all is going well, though I'm with Mitzi on the "big box" of tissues.
It will take some adjusting, but just hang in there and let life be for a time, then make decisions on what you want slowly. Enjoy the future and take care. Lots of huggles from Oz.

  12. Congratulations and as others have said, keep those tissues close. It may be good that you would have been on summer break. Think of all the new world of possibilities, and don't look back. I've found it hard not to respond to every distress call, so good luck when the new term starts in resisting the execs calling on your wisdom.
